Our Story

Here at Samui Thai Cuisine, we are a family and we serve families of our local community. Whether it’s an after-school hang out or lunch break with co-workers, we aim to be remembered as a staple part of your community.

Bill & Jane began their restaurant business in 2010 with Thai Stories in Woodbridge, CT. They wanted to share their Thai culture through heart-warming food served in a cozy atmosphere.

Over the years, we have expanded from Thai Stories Restaurant to other locations across Connecticut, including Samui Thai Cuisine in Southbury. Bill & Jane have also founded, but do not currently own, Thai Berry Kitchen in Monroe, Bangkok Room in Ansonia, and Thai Riverside in Chester.

They have always aimed to be innovative by implementing new business ideas to keep up with current trends. For example, we launched Chick-a-Bowl, a ghost kitchen business that shares the same kitchen as Thai Stories but has a completely different menu concept. Their latest business venture is a ramen food truck called Ramen Station based in New Haven.
